The fabric sale was a great success and a lot of fun!

Dear foreign readers!

These are news for the farbenmix direct sale on May 15th.

I hope you don’t mind that I don’t translate this text for you.

I beefed up a couple of jackets for little boys, too.

You can get them at the stock sale…

… and many, many different pieces of Malinas wardrobe, samples and shoes…

… but feel free to bring your own shirts for embellishing!

We cut out patterns…

… sewed and stitched…

… had immense fun…

… had even more fun…

… and created a dreamlike collection for a girl’s mum and her little princess…

… and a complete collection for a boy’s mum and her little lad.

Both collections are on sale on May 15th, our stock sale day. If they won’t sell, we will auction them off and donate the money to a good cause.

It was such a fun day! Thank you!!

At this time of year with all the communions and confirmations nearing we have to come up with different ideas for presents. I really like to embellish towels. Those are individual, well-liked gifts. Perfect for biths or birthdays, maybe a good idea for Mother’s Day, too?

Years ago I appliqued big letters and sold over 1000 towels over the time. I know, I still have some readers who ordered some 15 – 25 years ago…lol…

Today I have an embroidery machine!

The design is embroidered on felt and then sewed on. This leaves the back of the towel soft.

It looks quite noble with the mini pompon braid an a piece of ribbon.

I embellished these towels only for this blog entry because I know, we all are in constant search for gift ideas.
