Carnival is not that popular in the north of Germany, so buying an expensive costume is quite a waste.

This year Malina wants to be a piratess, though.

Cutting holes into an old jeans made Malina really happy.

The pockets are really cool and were spared from cutting – maybe I can use them for another project later
Since time is a rare thing around here right now, we bought the Shirt and the belt.

Ye, it’s quiet here.  The Creativa-fair in Dortmund will be great, but still needs a lot of preparations. It’s farbenmix’ first time at a huge fair like this, so there are a lot of things to do, to be discussed.

But today Malina and I have been sewing a shirt, cool, but yet funny.

Front: individual lettering in combination with luziapimpinella-Scully, with a touch of gold.

Back: swallow, combined with iron-on and stamped leather patch ( peppauf.de)

Why do all pants get too short over the summer?

I really like sewing NONITA in the fall. They look great with boots all winter long and in spring they have the perfect lenght for sneakers. This one is comfy and cool, made of of soft corduroy in beige. I used the big buttons and just embellished with an apple, embroidered on denim, cut out and sewed on to let it fray. So simple it matches almost every top!

Anybody who wants to take a book, has to  give a new book or just pay a small amount of money. Isn’t that just simple?
