IZZY
Autumn is nearing and Malina needs a coat for her way to school in the morning. I decided on the pattern IZZY by Nadia. Malina chose black and turquoise fabrics.
The new outdoor fabric of the farbenmic collection is wind- and waterproof but breathable, easy to work with, lightweight. Stain resistant to some extent and dryer proof. No need to iron – doesn’ t that sound fantastic?
I lined the jacket with soft cordyroy in turquoise, used a reflective zipper and turquoise yarn. The velour star on felt is an eye-catcher, too.
For the big turquoise star I used outdoor fabric, too. Some velvet trim on the sleeves – a ‘plain’ jacket – READY!
This quilted jacket in purple is much more vibrant. I used penguins of an old Oilily Sweater for the back.
Pattern: Coat IZZY, Jeans KATI
