pencil bag
Thanks for all your nice comments, I really liked them.
Unfortunately school is not leaving me a lot of time for sewing, but I really like it and try to find the time.
This time I made a pencil bag after Bianca’s tutorial.
To fit in my pencils, I cut out 52 x 13 cms.
You cannot staple wax cloth, so I used Stylefix again and sewing was quite easy.

What shall I sew?
Neck pouches are a no-go for 10-year-old girls, I hear. So I had to sew a Hip Bag last week:
And next week?
There are definitely new pajamas on my To-Sew-List

STAR buttons
Quite a lot of you had a sample of our new buttons with their last order.
Those oversized jeans buttons in various colours fit a lot of different styles and are easy to handle: Just put a piece of felt on a hard surface, place the button upside down on it. Drill the little nail through the fabric, place it on the button and use a hammer to fix it.
If your sewing machines are not able to stitch proper buttonholes that size, look at this video tutorial. Thank you, Sanna!
Easy to use are our new backings of faux leather. Just push it out, stitch it on, zigzag the buttonhole and cut it open. Of course they are perfect for all different kinds of embellishments, not just buttons!
HUUPS! offers this embroidered star buttonhole file as a freebie.
Online at Aug. 5th – enjoy the buttons!
Colourful summer projects
The sewing community is colourful – everyone has his own style in summer.
I had to leave our camping site because it is simply too hot. I rather use my time for new fall projects. But here it’s still summer:
