Inspired by the traditional dirndl Joelle has a folkloristic character. Thanks to its modern shape it is a perfect basic skirt for all ages. Joelle is suitable for special occasions as well as for daily play.

There is no closure in the back, so kids can handle it easily. Sewing is also no trouble. Still there are elaborately curved dividing seams that leave room for mixing prints. The bib offers room for appliqué or embroidery. Be inspired and invent a new skirt each time you sew the pattern!

Joelle's fitted bib makes a great shilouette and is very comfortable due to the elastic armholes. The A-line skirt leaves enough room for active girls. Made from sturdy fabric such as jeans or corduroy Joelle has a flared look, while made from light-weight cottons Joelle will swing and swirl wonderfully.

The shoulder straps can be made from any length. Adding a series of buttons or using buckles for closure the skirt will grow with your kid. There is a small front inside pocket that stresses the dirndl character and is a great keeper of little treasures.
