Nancy Langdon presents ...Dress, Dress Coat & Apron Dress TUOLUMNETUOLUMNE („too-AHL-oh-mee“) is a river system, which flows through Yosemite. The winter snow melt of the Sierra Nevada flows through the Tuolumne River, explosively over granite waterfalls and peacefully through wild flower meadows. The gores, collar and sleeves take their shapes from the wild flowers, which cover the Tuolumne Meadows in early summer.Tuolumne is comprised of a classically cut six-gore dress that can also be worn as a coat, and a flowing apron-style over dress. The apron dress can also be worn in warmer weather as a halter dress fastened at the neck or as a sundress. The base dress can also be sewn as separates (short-waisted jacket and skirt). Material: Fine wale cord, velvet, velveteen, cotton percale, batiste or lightweight denim. For a special occassion dress, Tuolumne can be sewn from formal fabrics, such as taffeta or organza.
