Today I would like to show you how I embroider delicate and thin fabrics.

A fine olive crinkle really needs a frog from the  IDYLLE series by Huups! designed by Maiga/Paulapü.

Generally I would always choose filligree embroidery designs for thin fabrics. Everything else would be too much.

Normal backing would be too thick or would tear the fabric when you try to remove it.

That’s why I use the sheer backing you can wash out after embroidering.

Just pin the fabric or the dress real good.

After embroiderung there is just the thin backing that’s left. It wouldn’t weigh down the fabric and will be rinsed out with the next wash.
