DIY high quality clothes for babies

Used cotton doesn’t contain any poisonous ingredients any more and still is really durable. Knits for baby clothes have to be good quality, because they have to be washed quite often and they should be comfortable. Here I used Hilco’s Campan.

Jersey knit + old gingham bed-cloth = 13 Euro

Do you own a stamp? Zwergenverpackung and fabric stamp colour are usable for different projects. You won’t need many of them.

Here you can see how I stamped the bedcloth and I cut them to be little pants and a shirt:

Babykleidung selber nächen, Stoff bestempeln, stempeln, farbenmix

Cute pants with hearty kneepads:

recycle-style, Bettwäsche, Babykombi stempeln, farbenmix

A shirt with dandelion:

Babysachen selber nähen und stempeln, farbenmix

And a little scarf as a finishing touch:

Babysachen selber machen, Anleitung, Schnittmuster, farbenmix

A combination to grow with your baby.

I will use the rest of the fabric for a little animal friend and it would be even enough for a baby blanket. The knit jersey would make a soft cuddly cloth, 2 little sleeves and cuffs.

Sewing can be low priced but high quality :-)
